“Sometimes you need to distance yourself to see things clearly”.

The farther you distance yourself from your perception of reality, the clearer you can see the actual reality. If you are to get in touch with the actual reality, it is imperative that you distance yourself as far as you can from yourself.

By falling in sin, we became Satan’s slaves who blinded our minds up to the point of crucifying God’s Son. That is why we must distance of ourselves and come close to the light of the world Who is Jesus and let Him illuminate our eyes to see reality.

Where is your perception of reality coming from?   You or God’s eyes?

“See, now is the acceptable time; see, now is the day of salvation!” (2 Corinthians 6:2)
Do you see it? If not, open your spiritual eyes wide. God loves you too much to let you go to hell while there is still time to change your direction for the infinite eternity. Who wouldn’t choose heaven over hell? It is in your will and power.  Getting there on your own is not possible so you must choose the One that can do it for you. Without your choosing Him consciously He can’t act for you.

Heed His command today to be born again of Him (1 Peter 1:3).  Eternity with God is yours, now.

“Giving up doesn’t always mean you’re weak, sometimes it means you are strong enough and smart enough to let go and move on” (Everyday Life Lessons site).

The  greatest power is restraint.  When Jesus was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane a band of men, and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came with lanterns, torches, and weapons. Jesus asked them whom are they seeking.  They answered that are looking for Jesus of Nazareth and, when “Jesus answered, ‘I am he’, they went backward, and fell to the ground”.

Even more ridiculous than them falling down like dead corps after hearing Jesus speak is what they did after Jesus lifted them up from their passed out state. Side note, it is possible that if Jesus wouldn’t have lifted them up then they may still be in the same place today, wouldn’t they? So after Jesus lifted them up again “the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him”.

Did you get that? Jesus was strong enough, yet restrained enough to let them go.

Are we strong enough to let all assumptions go, submitting to the Father’s will that requires repentance and baptism?

I Am Who I Am

“I am who I am” (God).

God made this statement more than six thousand years ago. All the scientific speculations regarding God change from time to time. Why is this? Because other than God there is no other existence Who called everything from nothing. His is THE source of life.  He is life. Adam remained in God while obeying His command. As soon as he turned his back on the One that is the source of life by disregarding His command, Adam lost his own life and was dismissed from God’s presence. When the Earth turns its back to the Sun darkness overtakes it.

However, God made it possible for us to become what He had in plan for us to be from the beginning.  Moreover, conscious dots in the Universe point out to, and/or prove the One that is. By receiving His Way of being born of Him via the Holy Ghost like Jesus, we can become significantly more than Adam. We can be born of the One that is the Only “I AM WHO I AM”.  This way we can live with Him for as long as He lives – for ever.

Interested? Just read His Book, pray and follow the three steps: repent, believe the Gospel and get baptized.

Now Or Never

“Don’t think of cost. Think of value” (Everyday Life Lessons site).

“What shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:26). There are innumerable uncertainties in this life. However, there is one single thing that is 100% certain for every human being, regardless of age, gender, education, social level, economical status etc, etc. That’s right: this life we spend in a body of flesh and blood is marked by an unquestionable and inevitable END; and the end of the body part of our being is actually the beginning of the endless life of our souls.

How long is this life in the body? The Word of God tells us:  “What is your life? It is even a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away” (James 4:14). Think of the vapor that raises from a cup of hot coffee. How long before it dissipates? A few seconds after it’s been poured and then…..

What happens after the body is no longer? “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). Then and there is where you are going to see how valuable is to suffer in the body a life that lasts the length of a vapor that is vanishing away, in order to enjoy an endless life, an eternal life.

Are you ready to disregard the cost and consider the value? Do it now, while you are still in a position to make this deal – now, during this earthly life.

“You cannot change what you refuse to confront”. (Everyday Life Lessons site)

This is exactly for you, my dear reader that is putting off solving your relationship with your Creator. Do you not fear Him? Do you think that you can change your default destination – which is hell – by just refusing to confront it? Take the very fact of that you are able to read this message as another invitation from God to come before Him through prayer and reading of His word, the Bible. Accept a confrontation now with Him while you can still change your destiny. A confrontation with God takes place for every single human being at the appointed time. But that will be a confrontation with God as prosecutor. Now you can confront Him as your defender.

True Or False?

“If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15)

Telling an Orthodox as well as a Protestant Christian that he doesn’t love Jesus can be construed as downright offensive. But what does it mean to actually love Jesus? After all, He proved His love by putting down His innocent life to save an unrecoverable sinner, like me. How do I prove my love for Him?

According to this Bible verse, He expects me to prove my love for Him by keeping His commandments. Here are just four of Jesus’ commandments, according to Mark 16:16 and John 15:12

1) repent

2) believe in the Gospel

3) get baptized AFTER putting your faith in Him

4) love one another – “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you”.

Are these true about us when we sing “oh, how I love Jesus”?
